Who we are

Scaleogic LLC operates the Scaleogic platform at scaleogic.com. For purposes of applicable privacy laws, Scaleogic LLC is the data controller for personal information processed through the Scaleogic service unless stated otherwise.

We take privacy seriously. Scaleogic stores the information you provide so the app can function (account details and your husbandry records).

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use them only as described below.

Essential cookies (always on) — Required to keep you signed in and protect your account. These include your authentication session with our identity provider. They cannot be turned off while you use the app.
Analytics cookies (optional) — Help us understand how Scaleogic is used so we can improve the product. These are off by defaultuntil you choose "Accept All" in the cookie banner. If you select "Reject Non-Essential," we do not enable optional analytics cookies.

Withdrawing consent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data for scaleogic.com in your browser (local storage and cookies), then reloading the page — the cookie banner will appear again. Removing the cookie_consent entry from local storage also resets your preference. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect essential sign-in cookies required to use your account.

Your Data Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR and CCPA. Scaleogic supports self-service access and deletion from the app.

Download your data: from Account Settings → My Data → Download My Data, you can generate a ZIP containing your records as JSON (plus an offline viewer). Photos are not included by default because of size; email support@scaleogic.com if you need help exporting images.
Delete your account: from Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account, you can permanently delete your account after confirming. This is immediate and cannot be undone.

Retention. We may retain certain information where required for legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution purposes (for example, limited server logs or billing records). For billing-record questions, email billing@scaleogic.com. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to you may also be kept for analytics.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise for residents of certain jurisdictions.
